Liverpool were beaten comfortably by Arsenal on Sunday.
The Reds were way off their game against the Gunners. They looked blunt in the attack, their midfield was disjointed and there were mistakes galore at the back.
Liverpool, quite simply, were poor against Arsenal, and, as you can imagine, after the game, fingers were being pointed.
Speaking on The Game Football Podcast, Tony Cascarino has been discussing Liverpool’s performance against Arsenal, and he pointed towards Trent Alexander-Arnold as a player who didn’t work hard enough on the day, claiming that he looked very complacent in the game.

Cascarino shared his verdict on the 25-year-old.
“There was complacency, Trent looked like a player to me who had his nose put out of joint with Bradley doing so well, he came in and he was off Martinelli, he will get done every now and then but even in his play he looked like he was a bit complacent in his game,” Cascarino said.
Difficult
Alexander-Arnold was poor at the weekend, but it is hard to blame him.
The right-back has been out with injury for the past few weeks, and coming straight back into the starting XI against a team like Arsenal isn’t an easy task.
Unfortunately, Alexander-Arnold was forced back into the starting XI in tragic circumstances after Conor Bradley suffered a bereavement, meaning he couldn’t play against Arsenal, and when you have to rush back from injury like this, it’s not a shock that Alexander-Arnold was slightly off the pace.
The right-back is a fantastic player, but it may take him a few weeks to get back to full speed and showcase his abilities fully.
Alexander-Arnold had an off day against Arsenal, but he should be back to his best before too long.
