Jurgen Klopp has been speaking about Darwin Nunez and feels the Liverpool striker has made massive improvements this season.
Darwin Nunez has nailed down his place in the Liverpool side this season after a difficult debut campaign last time out.
The 24-year-old has popped up with seven goals and the same number of assists in all competitions already this term.
It’s no secret the Uruguay international struggled with confidence in front of goal after joining from Benfica in the summer of 2022.
But Jurgen Klopp has shared with Amazon Prime Video Sport what he feels is completely different about Nunez now.

Speaking to Ben Foster, Klopp admitted he’s delighted with the improvements Nunez has made on the pitch.
“The big difference between Darwin now and Darwin last year is obviously he’s completely settled as a person,” the Liverpool boss said. “The weekend is a very good example again.
“So, one chance he could have done better and the other he’s doing everything right and it’s about an inch, crossbar, back off [Bernd] Leno, crossbar and out. So where’s the difference really? But he has all these moments and his understanding and involvement in our third goal. Header to Mo [Salah], Mo passes… These things are so important.
“He stays in the games, he’s super positive in and around the game. He was a bit aggressive in a little bit the wrong way in the beginning when things didn’t go well.
“He’s completely relaxed in this moment, now he is aggressive but in the right way. I’m really happy with what I see in the moment and the rest will come.
“So we are completely calm. Could he have scored more goals? Yes, of course. Could he have had more situations? I don’t think so. We have to work on the last touch.”

The 24-year-old’s link-up play has caught the eye this season and you get the feeling there’s more to come from the former Benfica man.
Of course, the Reds will be hoping he starts to convert his chances in front of goal more regularly. But his development under Klopp’s guidance is there for all to see.
