Liverpool would be the “dream destination” for Jude Bellingham, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The journalist, writing on Dutch outlet Soccernews, believes Reds boss Jurgen Klopp would be “perfect” for him.
Speculation linking Liverpool and Bellingham has been intensifying in recent weeks.

In addition, Klopp has apparently been leading the pursuit of Bellingham himself.
However, the race remains open, despite Liverpool being early front-runners.
Now, Di Marzio has provided an update on the Liverpool / Bellingham state of play, as well as sharing his thoughts.
“Liverpool would be a good choice for him because Jurgen Klopp is a great coach for any player moving from Borussia Dortmund to Anfield,” he said.
“Klopp knows the Bundesliga like the back of his hand and would be the perfect manager to squeeze everything out of Bellingham.
“In addition, Liverpool need a player like Bellingham, but the price tag makes it difficult to get a deal.
“This is going to be a summer deal anyway. Recently he exchanged his old agent for a new one, but that has nothing to do with negotiations.
“His parents are now responsible for the talks, but I don’t think anything will happen in January.
“If you ask me, Liverpool is a dream destination for Bellingham and Manchester United seem to have dropped out.
“The price tag is 100 to 130 million euros.”
‘He might be in the top one’
Liverpool really need to overhaul their midfield next year, and Bellingham would be the best player to build the team around.
Not that any further proof was needed about the 19-year-old’s credentials, but he really was outstanding at the World Cup.
England teammate Phil Foden tipped him to become “the best midfielder in the world”.

‘Was that a young Bryan Robson back in an England shirt? It certainly felt like it,’ he wrote after England beat Senegal.
‘Watching Jude Bellingham made you ask yourself: ‘What were you doing at 19?’
‘Even if he weren’t a world class footballer, you suspect he would be President of the Student Union or some high-flying trader in the City.
‘It’s pretty rare to see a teenager leading a group of such experienced pros. But Bellingham’s performance was just that.
‘His run into space to release Jordan Henderson for the opening goal was superb. But his tour de force was the second goal on 45 minutes.
‘However, it was much more than the goal interventions. He is the boss man in midfield, setting the tempo, showing for the ball, making runs in behind and leading the press.
‘Best midfielder at the World Cup? He might in the top one.’
