Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been described by Ben Foster as a player who can grab a game by the scruff of the neck and get the Reds over the line.
The pundit likened the Liverpool star’s impact on games to that of Manchester City duo Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden.
Salah made his long-awaited return to action for Liverpool as he came off the bench against Brentford at the weekend.
The 31-year-old – who replaced the injured Diogo Jota in the first half – hit the ground running as he registered a goal and an assist for the Reds.

He limped off just before half-time during Egypt’s 2-2 draw with Ghana on January 18, and medical tests showed that he would be out of action for a month.
Now, Salah is finally back in the fold and once again making a huge impact for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah can grab games ‘by the scruff of the neck’
Foster, speaking on The Cycling GK, named the Liverpool star as one of a select few Premier League players who can drag their team over the line.
“If you look at the likes of Man City,” he said. “You’ve got Phil Foden who does it, you’ve got Kevin De Bruyne, you got Mo Salah for Liverpool.
“They’re the sort of players that will grab them by the scruff of the net, won’t they, and lead them over the line so that they win.”
Salah is one of the best players in the Premier League and in the world for his quality, attitude and consistency for club and country.
It’s good to see him back in the fold for Liverpool as they look to give Klopp the best possible send-off from Anfield at the end of the season.
