Arsenal academy star Charlie Patino is among those who have wished Liverpool defender Rhys Williams well following his loan move out of Anfield.
The Gunners talent played alongside the Reds ace on loan at Blackpool last season, the duo taking to the pitch 12 times together for the Lancashire outfit.
Patino has been away from Arsenal on loan this term as well, currently plying his trade for Championship side Swansea City.

The 22-year-old has now left Anfield to link up with League One outfit Port Vale until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
Williams took to Instagram to post a picture of his presentation at Vale Park, with the caption: “Buzzing to be here and can’t wait to get started. Thank you to @officialpvfc for giving me the opportunity.”
Patino posted his well-wishes in the comments, the Arsenal gem telling the Liverpool ace: “Good luck bro”.
Williams has played 19 games for Liverpool, making his breakthrough during the Reds’ defensive injury crisis of 2020-21.
He appeared in the Premier League and Champions League for Jurgen Klopp’s side that season, and gave a good account of himself.
As well as playing for Blackpool and Aberdeen on loan, Williams also turned out for the likes of Kidderminster Harriers and Patino’s current club, Swansea.
Meanwhile, Patino is currently on his second loan spell away from Arsenal. He turned out for the Tangerines last term and is playing for the Swans this season.
The 20-year-old Gunners gem has been linked with Juventus over the past few weeks, but it’s extremely unlikely that Mikel Arteta will consider letting him go permanently.
