Both Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota were at the double, with the duo producing exceptional finishes to hand the Reds all three points.
With the game put to bed in the 83rd minute, as Liverpool led 3-0, Jurgen Klopp turned to his bench and handed a couple of youngsters an opportunity to impress.

Jota stole the show with a dazzling display where he netted a brace and grabbed an assist.
But it was an ideal opportunity for Klopp to hand the likes of Clark some minutes once again, while Conor Bradley also started at right-back in Trent Alexander-Arnold’s absence. Owen Beck was also introduced into the action alongside Clark as he replaced Bradley.
