'Another one': Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool now set to welcome 'super-important' player back from injury

Liverpool have endured a number of injury crises this season, with numerous players having been out of action at various points of the campaign.

Despite this, the Reds have battled on, winning the Carabao Cup and remaining in contention for the Premier League title and the Europa League.

With the Premier League run-in now in full swing, Liverpool’s injury crisis is showing signs of easing at just the perfect time.

Klopp spoke to the press on Wednesday afternoon, where he provided a number of positive updates on his squad’s fitness ahead of the Sheffield United clash.

For instance, Curtis Jones and Andrew Robertson are set to be available to face the Premier League’s bottom team.

Wataru Endo picked up a knock against Brighton, so he faces a late fitness test against the Blades, Klopp told the Liverpool media team.

Meanwhile, the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker and Diogo Jota are on the right track.

Klopp also spoke at length about Stefan Bajcetic, who has endured a very difficult season with injury.

What has Jurgen Klopp said about Liverpool talent Stefan Bajcetic?

The 19-year-old has missed most of the season due to fitness issues reportedly linked to his growth.

However, Klopp was able to reveal that Bajcetic is now back in full training with the Under-21s and is set to return to the first-team fold next week.

“He [Bajcetic] trains now fully with the U21s this week,” said the Liverpool boss.

“That means we will take him in training next week to us and then we will see. Another one coming and that’s super-important.”

It’s a shame that Bajcetic been on the sidelines for so long, but it’s good to hear he’s on the right track.

Hopefully everything continues to go well and he’ll be back in the fold next week, before potentially having a say in Liverpool’s title and Europa League charge in the latter stages of the season.
