Andros Townsend has now been comparing the strength of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City after facing all three.
32-year-old Townsend perhaps made a surprise return to Premier League football this season, signing for Luton Town in October.

That being said, Townsend has now faced all of Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City at Kenilworth Road this season.
Luton took a point from their game against Liverpool, but lost by a one-goal margin in the other two meetings.
And given just how competitive the newly-promoted side were in all three games, Townsend has now been able to share his verdict on who he believed to be the best team.
In fact, Towsend did believe that Luton deserved to beat Liverpool, even if he stopped short of saying so against Arsenal and Man City.
But the forward was pretty clear in stating his belief that Pep Guardiola’s side were superior to the other two.
Andros Townsend believes Man City were much tougher to beat than Arsenal and Liverpool
Speaking on the BBC’s ‘The Monday Night Club’, Townsend actually believed that Luton played their best football against Man City despite their loss.
But the former England international still felt City could handle their best quite comfortably, something he wouldn’t say for the other two title challengers.

“We gave them our best and they still could handle it whereas the other two – Liverpool we should have won, conceded in the last minute, and Arsenal we went 3-2 up and conceded in the last minute again – so we gave those two a tough, tough game whereas Man City seemed to be able to deal with our press.”
Of course, Towsend’s verdict that Man CIty are still slightly ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool probably won’t surprise too many.
Although Mikel Arteta’s side have made so much progress during the last couple of years, Pep sets an incredibly high bar.
Similarly, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side have now been playing second fiddle to City for some time.
That’s not to say that either club can’t beat City to the title, but they will definitely need luck on their side.
That being said, Gary Neville has now shared who he’d like to win the Premier League this season.
