'All day long’: David Seaman says £45m Arsenal star is much better than 24-year-old Liverpool player

David Seaman has made his pick between Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus and Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez.

The former Arsenal goalkeeper has also given his verdict on Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund.

So, what has David Seaman said about Gabriel Jesus and Darwin Nunez? Let’s take a look.

David Seaman prefers Gabriel Jesus to Darwin Nunez

Well, Liverpool and Arsenal will lock horns with each other at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Gabriel Jesus is likely to start for Arsenal. The Brazil international striker is going to lead the line for the Gunners in a 4-3-3 formation.

Darwin Nunez is also likely to feature for Liverpool. Like the £45 million Jesus (Sky Sports), the Uruguay international striker will start down the middle upfront in a three-man attack.

Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman has said that he would pick Jesus over Nunez.

Seaman said on the Seaman Says podcast: “For me. Jesus is a more natural finisher than Nunez and Hojlund but their tallies should be a lot better. I would take Jesus over Nunez all day long.”

Gabriel Jesus better than Darwin Nunez… at the moment

In my view, Gabriel Jesus is a better all-round player than Darwin Nunez at the moment, but things could change in the coming years.

We know what Jesus is capable of. Although the Brazil international is not a prolific goalscorer, his movement and pressing are key to how Arsenal attack the opposition teams. Kai Havertz loves playing with him.

Nunez is more of a ‘striker’ than Jesus. He is very good at running at opposition defenders and does get into good positions to score.

The 24-year-old is always a handful, but the problem with him is that he misses chances. The striker has a goal conversion rate of 13% and a shot accuracy of 49%.

Nunez is younger than Jesus. He is 24 now, while the Arsenal striker is 26. I believe that if the striker works hard on his finishing and is able to keep his composure in front of goal, then in the coming years, he could become a top-class player.
