Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool star Mohamed Salah’s professionalism is ‘insane’

Liverpool signed Mohamed Salah for £34.3 million from AS Roma in the summer of 2017 (Sky Sports).

There were a lot of doubters when the Egyptian joined the Reds. Many expected him to fail due to his previous spell at Chelsea, but Salah has proven everyone wrong.

The winger is now not just a Liverpool legend but also an icon of the Premier League. He is one of the best players to play in this country, and he will definitely get into the Hall of Fame one day.

Salah isn’t just playing for himself, he’s helping all the young players at the club as well. Harvey Elliott is one of them, and he has made the Egyptian his role model.

Jurgen Klopp raved about Salah’s professionalism.

Speaking about Salah being a role model, Klopp said, as relayed on Beanyman Sports: “Absolutely. Harvey looking up to Mo, not only but especially.

“Mo is a great role model in all aspects of the game. His professionalism is absolutely insane.”

This could be Salah’s last year at Liverpool

Mohamed Salah has been Liverpool‘s best player since he joined them over six years ago.

The 31-year-old has scored 200 goals and provided 87 assists for the Reds and has won all the major trophies he could win. He could add a Europa League title and another Premier League crown to his list this season.

However, at the end of this campaign, there is a very big chance that Salah will leave Liverpool and head over to Saudi Arabia, where he is a wanted man.

That would be a shame, but Liverpool will surely make good money from his sale, and it will be interesting to see how they will replace him if he does end up leaving.
