The right back was recently named Northern Ireland’s player of the year and is expected to feature heavily for the Reds in the final weeks of the 2024-25 season.
Liverpool are top of the Premier League and have a commanding 13-point lead on second-place Arsenal with just six matchweeks to play in the 2024-25 season.
They could lock up their 20th league title as early as this weekend if they win their game against Leicester City and Arsenal slip against Crystal Palace. And if it’s not this weekend, it seems very much only a matter of time before they do.
For right back Conor Bradley, who watched Liverpool lift it while he was an academy player in 2019-20, it will be a special moment and a chance to become part of the history of the club he grew up supporting.
“I have supported Liverpool all of my life and bringing home the Premier League would be so special,” Bradley told the BBC. “We have just got to keep playing our football. We’re top of the league for a reason—we have played really good football.
“Hopefully if we can do that for a few more games we should have it won and I am sure there would be great celebrations if we do it too.”
Bradley joined Liverpool full time in 2019 after training at the club’s Northern Ireland academy as a youngster while playing at the youth level for local clubs St. Patrick’s and then Dungannon Swifts.
While injuries have been an issue for Bradley this year, the 21-year-old has made 24 first team appearances in 2024-25 and is expected to feature heavily in the final weeks of the season.
Those injuries also didn’t stop him being named Northern Ireland’s player of the year, a prize he was awarded this week for his contributions to the national team.
“It’s been a bit of a frustrating year for me with injuries,” Bradley added, “but I am really happy to be back and back with the team and hopefully I can help as much as I can and bring the Premier League home.”
